International Courses
Registration and payment
When registering for the long courses, we will send an e-mail with information about further steps in your application. International students have to pay for the hole stay no later than March (same year as the course).

Cancellation and Termination

If you wish to cancel your stay before the beginning of term, the school must receive a written cancellation at least four weeks before the beginning of term, in order for you to receive a full refund of your school fees (excl. enrolment fee and visa-processing fee).
If we do not receive your cancellation in due time, you will forfeit four weeks of tuition.

Any student whose visa application is denied or whose visa is not received before the beginning of term may require a full refund of all school fees (excl. enrolment fee and visa-processing fee).

You terminate your stay if you wish to leave once the term has begun. If you wish to leave before the term ends without serious reason (illness or death in your close family), the rule of the Danish “folkehøjskole” states that you must pay for the time you have been a student plus an additional four weeks from the day of departure. Viborg IH will refund the remainder of your school money once proof of arrival to your home country has been received by the school.

If there is a waiting list for a course and you sign up for it, you will be contacted if a place becomes available. It costs nothing to be on the waiting list.

Cancellation of a Course
The completion of a course depends on the number of participants on the course. In case of cancellation, the registered person will be notified of this no later than 1 month before the start of the course.

In case of cancellation of a course, the full course price will be refunded, however, this is excepted in case of Force Majeure.
