We'll also explore specialized training methods and physical conditioning to help you perform your best.

Volleyball is a lifestyle… and not a laid-back one! Expect high energy, hard work, and plenty of sweat.

While we focus on technical skills, our main goal is to equip you with the ability to control the ball - even under pressure from tough opponents.

Climbing

Climbing is like physical chess - it challenges both your body and your mind as you plan out every move to reach the top!

We'll start in our boulder room by building strength, refining technique, and sharpening problem-solving skills to make sure everyone has a solid foundation for more advanced climbs. 

Apart from our indoor climbing wall, we also have our very own outdoor climbing mountain - the largest artificial climbing mountain in Northern Europe with 50 different routes.

Do you want to push your limits? Then CrossFit is for you!

We will work with free weights and weightlifting techniques, but also spice up our workouts with a variety of fun and challenging exercises. This includes using tools such as kettlebells, sandbags, skipping ropes, tractor tires, logs, and much more. The only limit is your imagination. 

Workouts can take place both indoors and outdoors, and will always make you break a sweat!

Endurance Sport

Challenge your endurance and push your limits!

Whether you're an experienced athlete or just looking to improve your fitness, this course is the perfect choice. Three disciplines - swim, cycle, and run!

Our workouts take place in the scenic surroundings of the school, where forests, hills, and lakes provide the ultimate arena for endurance sports. From technically challenging runs through the woods to intense swims in the lakes, every session combines technique, flow, and cardio for maximum effect.

Kayak

No experience? No problem. We offer instruction for both beginners and advanced paddlers. And if you get really hooked, you can earn a kayak instructor certificate, allowing you to teach others even after your stay at the school ends.

We offer the following types of kayaking courses:

  • Sea kayaking - technique, safety, and scenic trips on lakes and fjords.
  • Whitewater kayaking - fast-paced rapids, action, and adrenaline.
  • Surf kayak - playful, powerful paddling in the waves of the North Sea.
  • Kayak polo - speed, strategy, and close-contact gameplay i agile kayaks.
  • Instructor course - earn your certificate and become a kayaking instructor.

Golf

In this course, you'll be introduced to the sport, where you'll learn the basic rules and develop essential skills on the course. The class is designed primarily for beginners, but experienced players are more than welcome and will still find plenty to gain.

We practice on the driving range, in the bunker, on the short-game area, and on the putting green. Students also have free access to the club's 9-hole Pay & Play course, giving you the freedom to play whenever you want during your stay. You won't need to worry about equipment - it's all stored securely at the golf club.

We play at Viborg Golf Club which is located about 2.5 km from the school.

HYROX

HYROX is an intense and engaging training form that combines strength and conditioning in a competitive setup. It's the perfect class for anyone who loves pushing themselves their limits and discovering new potential. 

In HYROX, we work with a combination of functional exercises and running. You'll be introduced to movements like sled pulls, burpees, and kettlebell swings. All are designed to build your strength and endurance. 

Each lesson focuses on proper technique to help you prevent injuries and improve performance. But HYROX isn't only about physical fitness - you'll also develop goal-setting skills, mental focus, and the ability to perform under pressure. 

HYROX is for both beginners and those with experience in functional training.

OCR

OCR stands for Obstacle Course Racing and refers to military-inspired obstacles, that combine fitness, stamina, and strength challenges. You always need to stay focused on the next obstacle, manage your energy, and tackle each challenge strategically. 

In this course, we practice many of the obstacles you'd face in a real race. We run, crawl, climb, lift, pull, and jump - all to make you faster, stronger, and more agile while having fun along the way.

Whether you've been a scout your whole life or have never spent a night under the open sky, this course will challenge you and give you experiences in nature you'll never forget.

You'll develop the skills to "survive" outdoors in demanding conditions, becoming more capable and self-reliant along the way. You'll practice lighting fires, preparing meals, and navigating - even after dark. And most importantly, you'll get to enjoy the scenery, the adventure, and the company of your friends.

Training takes place both on the school's field and on a state-of-the-art artificial turf pitch at Bjergsnæs Efterskole located nearby - providing perfect facilities for focused, serious, and fun training sessions.

Along with another school in Viborg (for younger students) and the local gymnastics club (VGF), we offer some of the best gymnastics facilities, including jump pits, fast tracks, fiber lanes, tumbling rigs, and more.

In this course, you will explore individual jumps and techniques, with plenty of time to practice and perfect your skills. We also use video analysis to help correct mistakes, improve technique, and increase your body awareness.
